You may be alone but never lonely.
If you spend time with yourself, then you are alone… but if you spend time alone With God, then you are… in preparation. Recently in EO APAC CF, we spoke about the topic of aloneness.
This topic is something very deep to me as this is the very topic that led me to a breakdown at inner healing. Since I got the calling from God to be an entrepreneur, there were many spurts of loneliness it felt as if God has just left me in one corner to figure out how to build this business.
He led me to cofounders I thought could f ight through the startups with me, but one by one they all left me. I kept asking God so why?!? Many people asked me why don’t i find a cofounder, I told them I wish I could find one. So for many years I have been looking for one, but it never succeeded. Beyond the days of honeymoon, were days of wonder. Wonder whats wrong with me? Why can’t I have a cofounder whom could fight the battles with me? Then a friend message me and said, if u keep finding a cofounder than how can God be your cofounder? So since then for any critical decisions I made, I have learnt to be still and ask God is this what he will do, if its meant to be, keep the doors open. If its not, please help to close the door
When I was young I used to joke that I won’t need to get married I can be well and good alone. But overtime, I got attached and i realised how great it will be to have someone to do life with. In 2018, I got engaged. Just as I thought that I have found the ONE, I realised I was wrong. I was not happy and I could not understand why? Then a friend drew a triangle for me. If one grows closer to God and one grow further away from God, then wouldn’t the line between 2 of us lengthen. WOWWW! thats so true. So over time, we broke up. The breakup was not easy at all. But I know God has his timing for everything. And if there is something I will never compromise in my other half is that He must be God fearing. Love God first above all else so that we can meet each other in heaven if our time on earth ends.
So this year, I decided to stop praying for a cofounder in my business, but pray for God to bring me God-fearing leaders to lead the company to greater heights. As for my prince charming (haha!), I trust God hears my desire, as for now, I still have the best bridegroom in God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law
So though I spent this bday alone in the hotel room. I feel loved. Loved by God and my dear friends. ❤ My hearts are full ❤ ❤ ❤ I will seek to continue waiting and trusting God in his timing with joy and faith.
A Time for Everything
3 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,

a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,

God does it so that people will fear him.
